Due Femmes - wine with soul, story, and intention
Our Story
Due Femmes is founded by two women whose shared love of wine, culture, and intentional experience brought them together through the same WSET 3 coursework. What started as a friendship over glasses of wine became something bigger: a brand built at the intersection of luxury wine education, cultural storytelling, and immersive experience design.
Between us, we carry two distinct heritages, two distinct palates, and one shared belief that wine is one of the most powerful vehicles for memory, community, and joy. That dual perspective isn't incidental to what we do. It's the whole point. It's why our food pairings draw from across the African diaspora and Southeast Asia. It's why our storytelling doesn't default to one kind of nostalgia. It's why the rooms we create are for everyone because good wine was never meant to belong to just one kind of person.
“We can absolutely talk terroir… but first let me make sure you’re not ordering a $90 bottle that tastes like stress.🍷”
Meet Eden, Co-founder
Eden didn’t find wine through a textbook…she found it through story.
With a background in news and media, her world was built on capturing moments, shaping narratives, and understanding how culture moves through people. She developed an instinct for detail and a natural ability to create experiences that feel both intentional and memorable.
Wine became an extension of that language.
What began as curiosity quickly deepened into commitment, leading her into formal study as a Level 3 candidate with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Along the way, she developed a strong technical foundation to support what she already understood intuitively; that wine is as much about feeling as it is about form.
Her journey led her deeper into the world of Champagne, where she earned recognition as a Level 4 Champagne Specialist by the Comité Champagne, a reflection of both her discipline and her love for sparkling wines in all their expressions.
Eden’s palate is guided by place and perspective. She’s drawn to the soul and structure of Italian wines, the quiet elegance of the Loire Valley, and the richness and versatility found in Chilean producers. Her approach to wine is thoughtful, curious, and always evolving.
Through Due Femmes, she brings that perspective to life…creating experiences that feel elevated, welcoming, and deeply connected, where wine becomes a bridge between culture, conversation, and self-expression.
“Good wine doesn’t need a translator.”
Meet Marie, Co-founder
Marie's love for wine didn't start in a vineyard, it started across a conference table.
By day, she works in Fintech, where meal with clients became something of an unintentional education. The clients who knew wine loved to share what they knew, and Marie, curious by nature, attentive by training - listened. One pour at a time, a hobby became a passion.
It started with Napa Valley reds, those big, sun-soaked Cabs. From there, her palate wandered east. These days her pours are Bordeaux and Burgundy reds, and a German white. Marie loves a wine with complexity, perhaps mirroring herself. 🙃
What struck her most along the way wasn't the wine itself. It was how often the people pouring it acted like the knowledge was theirs to gate keep. Marie noticed how easily a glass of something beautiful could be made to feel intimidating, and how rarely the rooms she sat in looked anything like the world outside them.
Marie is currently enrolled in the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines, building the formal vocabulary to match the instinct she'd been sharpening for years over those client dinners. The credential matters to her but only as a means to an end.
That end is Due Femmes. Marie co-founded the company with one quiet conviction: wine is for everyone.
